How does Xtreme Tracker work?

The XT1 unit is wired into and controls the ignition of the equipment. Authorized users are assigned an individual code that must be entered (by card swipe or on key pad) to operate the equipment. The unit electronically transmits, records and reports hours, user, location, service required and maintenance needed among many other features. This pertinent information is accesible at any given time. Our software is customized and automatically updated as needed. Data is reported throught the ATT network to the Xtreme Tracker application server at the network operation center. This center is linked via VPN hardware to nPhase who has a direct T3 connection to ATT. The rental company and the renter can sign into the Xtreme Tracker web application with their user credentials and review the telemetry and data that the unit collected.

The Xtreme Tracker unit utilizes GPS technology from Trimble Technologies, cellular network radio technology from Siemens, communications technology from ATT, mapping technology from Google Earth and Google Maps and software applications powered by Microsoft.
